Janelle is a subrogation attorney with five years of litigation experience and two years of transactional experience. Her experience encompasses managing civil litigation and subrogation matters, including leading discovery motions and negotiating advantageous client deals.
Prior to joining the firm, Janelle was an associate at a California civil litigation firm, handling personal injury and high-value civil litigation matters. She was also an associate for a firm where she managed over 175 fast-paced plaintiff's-side civil litigation subrogation matters, including first chairing over five bench trials.
For two years, Janelle was an associate at the Children's Law Center of California, where she advocated for neglected and abused children in dependency proceedings, represented clients with Native American heritage in ICWA court, and examined witnesses in contested dependency trials.
Janelle earned her J.D. in 2009 from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. She received her M.A. from the International Institute for the Sociology of Law in 2006 Janelle graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in law & society in 2005.
Outside of her practice, Janelle enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and reading Human Design charts.
