Nicholas maintains a corporate, commercial and securities law practice with a focus on early-stage and growth-stage public and private companies in the technology, mining, and energy sectors. He advises companies on a range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, corporate reorganizations, and regulatory compliance. Nicholas also advises clients with other corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, day-to-day issues, strategic investments, and joint partnerships.
Prior to joining the firm, Nicholas was an associate in the capital markets and securities practice of an international law firm. He has also practiced at a boutique municipal law and commercial real estate firm in Vancouver.
Nicholas earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and his law degree from the University of British Columbia, at the Sauder School of Business and the Peter A. Allard School of Law, respectively.
