David is an associate with a keen focus on insurance coverage evaluation and litigation. He has experience representing clients in complex insurance matters involving issues ranging from unfair competition to medical malpractice and intellectual property. David is client-oriented and works to evaluate complex legal questions and develop optimal strategies before litigation, at mediation, and through trial.
Before joining the firm, David was an associate at a West Coast-based litigation firm, representing clients in evaluating and litigating complex insurance matters in state and federal court, including performing extensive motion practice, arguing motions, conduction and defending depositions, and managing all manner of discovery issues.
David was recognized as a Super Lawyers California Rising Star in 2024 and 2025, and contributed to the "New Appleman California Insurance Law" practice guide published by Lexis Nexis in 2023 and 2024.
David was an extern for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II at the U.S. District Court, Central District of California and began his litigation experience as a law clerk in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Business and Complex Litigation division.
David earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2021, where he was the note and comment editor for Pepperdine Law Review and received CALI awards in Constitutional Law and Cross-Cultural Mediation. David graduated cum laude in 2010 from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in political science, focusing on international relations and public policy.
