The Road to the Ballot Runs Through Judicial Conventions [AmNew York Legal]

Jerry Goldfeder contributed an article to the AmNew York Legal Special Section discussing the general election ballot, which includes races for Supreme Court judges in approximately 30 states. Jerry covers the process for electing a judge on the Court of Appeals in New York, the rarity of actual campaigns for Supreme Court seats, and the process of nominating judicial convention delegates who ultimately decide which Supreme Court candidates are nominated at the judicial convention.
