Thomas Wilkinson and Dexter Hamilton will speak on panels at the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section Retreat.
Tom Wilkinson will speak on the panel “Motions to Seal, Gag Orders and the First Amendment.” Tom will discuss what is required for the courts, state and federal, to permit filing under seal, what limitations may be imposed on the out of court statements of litigants and counsel, and how First Amendment rights affect both issues.
Dexter Hamilton will moderate the “Hot Topics in Litigation” panel. He will discuss training, mentoring, and collegiality growth in a hybrid work environment. Dexter will cover the impact of hybrid legal work, ways for senior attorneys to make the most of reduced in-person interaction, and the ethical considerations raised in this type of work environment.
