Jonathan Levy and John Karmozyn, CPCU, AIC, Executive General Adjuster, Crawford Global Technical Services, will host a Cozen O'Connor webinar titled, "Damages Are Not Damages: 2 + 2 ≠ 4" on Tuesday, October 20. This course will identify an often overlooked and common misconception on the difference between insurance policy payments made to an insured and the recoverable damages that can be pursued in a subrogation effort. The course will highlight the types of insurance payments most commonly seen in property damage claims and will provide an overview of what amounts are recoverable in court with a focus on repair costs, depreciation, fair market value, and diminution of value.
